I am an interdisciplinary leadership researcher and consultant working at the nexus of economics, psychology, and the social sciences. With over two decades of experience spanning business, media, and the cultural sector. I specialise in leadership behaviour, organisational decision-making, and the dynamics of power.
My work centres on developing authentic leadership models, identifying cognitive and behavioural biases, and advancing sustainable, human-centred organisational strategies. As a consultant, I collaborate with leaders, executives, and organisations on strategic positioning, leadership identity, and navigating complex decision environments.
I am involved in high-level professional and academic work —including research papers, conferences, thought leadership articles, and strategic narratives.
Background
My Austrian family roots, combined with the years I spent in New York—my creative home and a pivotal chapter in my career—have shaped a unique perspective that continues to guide my professional journey.
From my teenage years, music and entrepreneurship have been central to my life. At the age of 19, I co-founded a U.S. business venture with friends, an early experience that sparked my lifelong interest in combining creativity and enterprise.
Qualifications
Trained as an opera tenor, I studied music and journalism in Vienna, Budapest, and New York before transitioning to the social sciences. My artistic development was significantly shaped by private mentorship under Professor Carrelli at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, which deepened my performance abilities and enhanced my leadership skills. I hold degrees in Communication (MA, BA), Economics (MSc), and an MA in Sociology, specialising in Social Psychology (MA). My studies in Economic Psychology (MA) allow me to focus on power perception, exploring how cognitive and emotional processes shape behaviour, decision-making, and organisational dynamics in economic and business contexts.
My personal development has been guided by former New York Metropolitan Opera soloist Gábor Carelli, neurologist Professor László Iván, and my PhD supervisor, the acclaimed behavioural economist Professor Gyula Bakacsi.
EXPERTISE
With over two decades of experience in the creative sector and a background in opera, I bring a forward-looking, interdisciplinary perspective to my work. I have led numerous corporate, stage, and television productions worldwide, consistently delivering high-end projects and building strong, distinctive brands.
As Managing Partner at GuliAnd Co., I collaborate with prestigious organisations and public institutions. Our team specialises in high-quality corporate events and stage productions globally, offering tailored business development and personal branding solutions.
From opera stage to boardroom
My consulting practice developed organically, as I supported fellow founders navigating challenges I had previously faced while building my own ventures.
In 2017, GuliAnd Co. collaborated with Plácido Domingo to establish PD Classics Co. in New York, a company focused on developing classical music productions and building the brands of the next generation of artists. The company’s flagship international, multicultural festival—named after the world-renowned artist—debuted in Hungary in its founding year. In parallel, PD Classics Exclusive was launched, introducing a line of high-quality products in honour of the co-founding artist.
These days, I partner closely with organisational leaders as a strategic and trusted advisor, helping them transform complexity into clarity and guide their organisations confidentially into the future. I support leaders in making confident, forward-looking decisions while fostering sustainable growth and organisational resilience.
