Alongside my performing career, I have developed and produced international television, opera, cultural, and city-branding projects, leading approximately 300 stage, media, cultural, and cross-sector initiatives within diverse international artistic and organisational frameworks.

Italianate lyricism
As a performer, I have appeared in concerts and operatic productions at major venues including New York, Chicago, Miami, Toronto, Munich, Cologne, Liverpool, and Budapest. My repertoire is rooted in the lyric-spinto tenor tradition and includes operatic and concert literature, as well as Neapolitan song repertoire. Selected operatic roles include Rodolfo (La Bohème – Puccini), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly – Puccini), Cavaradossi (Tosca – Puccini), Manrico (Il Trovatore – Verdi), Ottó and the title role in Bánk bán (Erkel), the Italian Singer (Der Rosenkavalier – Richard Strauss), and Malcolm (Macbeth – Verdi), among others within a broader repertoire.
Starting with Legends
In 1990, I produced a documentary on President Árpád Göncz’s private visit to the US, including his meeting with President George H. W. Bush. It aired on Hungarian public television (M1). I was one of the pioneers in establishing private television production office in post-transition Hungary. "Welcome to Hungary," an English-language magazine show, was launched in the U.S. and was later broadcast throughout North America and internationally. From 1990 to 1997, our team interviewed over 150 international figures, such as Henry Kissinger, Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Sylvester Stallone, and Edward Teller. I also worked with Metropolitan Opera tenor Gábor Carelli, my mentor, on the documentary Il Tenore – Beniamino Gigli, which aired on PBS, NBC, and MTV Hungary.

I am especially delighted to team up not only with legendary, long-established singers, but also with acclaimed members of the younger generation of musicians, joining on the stage - whether in intimate chamber music settings or in stadium concerts. From 2004 onwards, through our team’s strategic communications work, the visibility of the Operalia World Competition grew significantly year by year. In 2008, together with my business partner Márton Kovács, I secured the rights for Hungary to host the competition. The jury included executives from leading opera houses, and the competition helped launch artists such as Angel Blue of the Metropolitan Opera.
In recognition of Hungarian cultural events, the University of Pécs awarded honorary doctorates to José Carreras in 2007 and Plácido Domingo in 2016. Additional international projects include the LA Opera production of "Bánk bán," which was developed over several years and supported by the board. The patronage circle for this project includes former governor George Pataki, Nobel laureate George Oláh, Ambassador Donald Blinken, and Georg von Habsburg.
Additional highlights include the 2020 opening ceremony of the Szent Gellért Fórum. As managing partner of GuliAnd Co., I have collaborated with the Astana Opera Company on major European concert productions and have staged numerous opera productions, including La Traviata featuring artists from the Metropolitan Opera and the Los Angeles Opera.

HIGH-END BRAND PROJECTS
In 2018, PD Classics Exclusive launched a curated line of high-quality, limited-edition products for the global market. One of its most successful creations is the “LA Opera – La Traviata” art deco table lamp, which draws inspiration from the aesthetics of opera and stage design. The piece evokes a sense of theatrical intimacy and emotional luxury, transforming any space into a stage where light, art, and desire subtly converge.
GuliAnd Co. published Cecilia Scalisi’s En la edad de las promesas in 2019, a volume that documents the early careers of Martha Argerich, Daniel Barenboim, and Bruno Gelber. This book offers an in-depth look at the formative years of these prominent musical figures. I am also the author of Hungarians and Plácido Domingo, which explores the legendary performer’s connection to Hungary and the relationship between art, business, and power.
